JKAS Examination:     Jammu and Kashmir UT Service, better known as Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), is the prestigious service in the UT of J and K. The JKAS Exam is conducted by JKPSC (Jammu Kashmir Public Services Commission) at UT level. The exam is conducted in three stages. The first stage is preliminary test (PT) which is just a screening test to allow students to sit in the next stage of examination. The next stage is Mains Examination. After qualifying this tier, the candidates are called for interview. Interview (Personality Test) is Conducted  by a panel constituted by JKPSC Chairperson and members. Final result of JKAS exam is declared after this stage. Then JKPSC send the selection list of qualified candidate to Government  Medical College Jammu and Srinagar for the medical examination of the selected candidates respectivly.  How to find Forgotten JKPSC Application Number online on JKPSC portal?





Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission is a body which is working for govt recruitments for gazzeted posts. Govt refers the vacant positions of the gazzeted posts to the JKPSC and meanwhile JKPSC advertises, accept applications, scrutinizes, and conduct examination and interviews for these advertised posts to select the suitable candidates for filling up of the vancant positions from time to time.
Many candidates who are the domicile of Jammu and Kashmir apply for various govt jobs advertised by Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission from time to time. The main process of application is that the candidate firstly register on JKPSC website and makes his/her profile by filling up of all personal, academic details, etc on the Portal. Once the candidate is registered on the Portal, an ID and password is generated for login.
Registered candidate uploads all the relevant documents on the Portal and can change or update his/her profile on the Portal from time to time. Any candidate can registered himelf/herself any time on the Portal.
Now whenever JKPSC releases notification for filling up of the govt posts, only the registered candidates can apply for the posts advertised by the JKPSC.
The candidates fill up the application form and submit it. An application number is generated which is required by the candidate later on for downloading the admit card or hall ticket for the examination.

Many of the candidates forgot their application number and this creates a problem to the candidate. To resolve this problem, JKPSC has now given an option to find application number by any candidate online.

Here are the steps you have to follow to find your application number online on the JKPSC portal.

1. Go to the website of Jkpsc link is also provided here.
Following window will  appear.

2. Scroll down the window and you will find the Forgot application button as bellow.

3. Click the button and you will appear a small window to fill up the basic details as bellow.

Finally you will got your application forgotten number.
Now you can use this for downloading the admit cards or any future reference.

Another mode to find the JKPSC forgotten application number is to visit the computer section in the  office of the JKPSC headquartered at Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir 180016 (Winter time office) and The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission
Solina, Srinagar, Kashmir Srinagar (Summer time office).

JKAS CCE 2022 Final Result

 JKAS CCE 2023 Final Result  JKPSC has issued the final result notification for the JKPSC CCE 2022 recently with Notification no. PSC/EXAM/2023/S/37 dated 22-09-2023.  JKPSC 2022 notification was issued for 220 no of  posts.  A total of 34121 candidates applied for the examination while a total of 4944 no of candidates were declared qualified to appear in the mains examination.  As per rules, about 787 candidates were declared qualified for personality test.  Finally 218 candidates were selected as per annexure II of the notification, to be qualified for the said exam and were called for medical examination in their GMCs.
