JKAS Examination:     Jammu and Kashmir UT Service, better known as Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), is the prestigious service in the UT of J and K. The JKAS Exam is conducted by JKPSC (Jammu Kashmir Public Services Commission) at UT level. The exam is conducted in three stages. The first stage is preliminary test (PT) which is just a screening test to allow students to sit in the next stage of examination. The next stage is Mains Examination. After qualifying this tier, the candidates are called for interview. Interview (Personality Test) is Conducted  by a panel constituted by JKPSC Chairperson and members. Final result of JKAS exam is declared after this stage. Then JKPSC send the selection list of qualified candidate to Government  Medical College Jammu and Srinagar for the medical examination of the selected candidates respectivly. 1. Jammu and Kashmir administrative Services (JKAS).
These services are the most prestigious Gazzeted services in govt sector. these includes Administrative services, Police Gazzeted services and JK accounts Gazzeted services.
Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline.
Exam:JKAS examination conducted by JKPSC. It's a three tier exam. Preliminary test, Mains exam and Interview.
Salary: pay level 8, rupees 58000/ month at begining approximately with grade pay of 4800.



2. Assistant professor at College and University level. This is a most prestigious post in govt sector. Job is to guide and teach students at college and University level.
Eligibility: Post Graduation in particular Subject with NET qualified in the same subject.
Exam: Notification is released by JKPSC and candidates are screened either by exam or by compiling academic merit and then Interview.
Salary: Approximately Rupees 70000/month at entry level with grade pay of 6000.


3.10+2 Lecturer. This is also a Gazzeted services in Education department at 10+2 level. Since teaching is the best services so lectureship is considered to be luxurious post in govt sector.
Eligibility : Post Graduation in particular subject.
Exam: Screening test and Interview is conducted by JKPSC whenever there are vacancies.
Salary: approximately 60000 rupees per month at the entry level with grade pay of 5400.

4 Assistant Conservator of Forest.
It's a Gazzeted services in Forest department.
Eligibility: Graduation with some particular subjects like zoology, botany,. Forestry, sericulture, agriculture, biology, etc.
Exam: three tier exam consisting of preliminary Test, mains exam and Interview is conducted by JKPSC.
Salary: approximately 58000/ month at entry level with grade pay of 4800.


5-Naib-Tehsildar. It's a non gazetted post in the Department of Revenue. It's a subordinate post of Tehsildar in each tehsil. Candidates are both directly recruited for this posts and by promotion of the subordinate posts like girdawar.
Eligibility : Graduation in any Subject.
Exam: Three tier examination is conducted by  JKSSB which includes Preliminary test, Urdu test and  Interview.
Salary: Approximately Rupees 45000 /month at the begining with grade pay 4200.

6-Patwari. this post also belong to Revenue Department and candidates are directly recruited.
Eligibility: Graduation in any Subject.
Exam: two tier exam is conducted by JKPSC which includes written and Urdu Test.
Salary: approximately rupees 25000+ per month at the beginning with grade pay of 2400.

7. Medical Officer: It's a Gazzeted service in medical department.
Eligibility: Requires professional qualification like MBBS, BDS, BVSc, BAMS, etc.
Exam: Two tier Exam is conducted by JKPSC including Written and Interview.
Salary: Approximately 60000 Net salary monthly with a grade pay of 5400.



8. Range Officer grade I. It is a non Gazzeted post in Forest department.
Eligibility:. B.Sc. Forestry or equivalent qualification from any  Indian council of Agricultural Research institute.
Exam : Two tier examination is conducted by JKPSC including Written and Interview.
Salary: Approximately 45000 monthly with grade pay of 4280.

9. JK Bank PO. It's a Non Gazzeted post in Jammu and Kashmir bank.
Eligibility: any graduate can apply for the post.
Exam. Three tier exam is conducted by IBPS including two written tests and one interview.
Salary. Basic pay Rupees 23700 with other perks.


10 Sub-Inspector (Finance): It's a non Gazzeted post in the department of Finance.
Eligibility: Any Graduate may apply for this post.
Exam: JKSSB conducts two tier exam including Written test and Interview.
Salary: Approximately Rupees 32000 /month at the begining with grade pay 2800.

11. Inspector (Finance): It's a non Gazzeted post in the department of Finance. The candidates are directly recruited to this posts or may get promoted from Sub-inspector Finance post.
Eligibility: any Graduate may apply for this post.
Exam: JKSSB conduct two tier exam including Written test and Interview.
Salary: Approximately Rupees 45000 /month at the begining with grade pay 4200.

12. Sub-Inspector (Police) SI: It's a non Gazzeted post in the department of JK Police. It's directly recruited as well as candidates may get the posts by promotion from ASI.
Eligibility: Any candidates with Graduation as minimum qualification.
Exam: Exam is directly conducted by JK POLICE department independently.
Salary: Approximately Rupees 45000 /month at the begining with grade pay 4200. Plus some additional allowances.


13. Junior Engineer. It's a non Gazzeted posts in various govt Departments.
Eligibility: Bachelor of Engineering in respective discipline.
Exam: Two tier exam is conducted by JKSSB including written test and Interview.
Salary : Approximately 40000 per month with a grade pay of 4260.

14. Assistant Engineer. It is a Gazzeted service in various departments.
Eligibility: Any Graduate in Engineering.
Exam: JKPSC conduct two tier examination including written test and interview.
Salary : Approximately 58000. Monthly with grade pay of 5200 and pay level 8A.

15.Assistant Director (Statistics). It's also a Gazzeted services in various gov t Departments.
Eligibility : candidates must be Post graduate in Economics, Mathematics, Commerce, MCA or any Other master  qualification from recognised indian statistical Institute.
Exam: JKPSC conducted two tier examination for this post which includes written exam and Interview.
Salary: Pay level 8, rupees 58000/ month at begining approximately with grade pay of 4800.

JKAS CCE 2022 Final Result

 JKAS CCE 2023 Final Result  JKPSC has issued the final result notification for the JKPSC CCE 2022 recently with Notification no. PSC/EXAM/2023/S/37 dated 22-09-2023.  JKPSC 2022 notification was issued for 220 no of  posts.  A total of 34121 candidates applied for the examination while a total of 4944 no of candidates were declared qualified to appear in the mains examination.  As per rules, about 787 candidates were declared qualified for personality test.  Finally 218 candidates were selected as per annexure II of the notification, to be qualified for the said exam and were called for medical examination in their GMCs.
