JKAS Examination:     Jammu and Kashmir UT Service, better known as Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), is the prestigious service in the UT of J and K. The JKAS Exam is conducted by JKPSC (Jammu Kashmir Public Services Commission) at UT level. The exam is conducted in three stages. The first stage is preliminary test (PT) which is just a screening test to allow students to sit in the next stage of examination. The next stage is Mains Examination. After qualifying this tier, the candidates are called for interview. Interview (Personality Test) is Conducted  by a panel constituted by JKPSC Chairperson and members. Final result of JKAS exam is declared after this stage. Then JKPSC send the selection list of qualified candidate to Government  Medical College Jammu and Srinagar for the medical examination of the selected candidates respectivly. Since there is no separate syllabi document issued by the JKPSC but a joint SRO 103 is issued in which every aspect of the KAS examination is covered including the syllabus.

The syllabus of the KAS 2023 prelims and Mains papers is similar to that of UPSC civil service examination.

As the UPSC publishes the syllabus every year along with the advertisement of the fresh notification of the civil service examination but JKPSC do not issue the syllabus each year.

There is no amendment in the syllabus of KAS examination for the year of 2023 as the JKAS advertisement Notice of the JKAS 2023 prelims examination has already been issued by the JKPSC where no change in the syllabus has been communicated.

Many students and aspirants of this exam are searching the syllabus of KAS exam particularly KAS exam 2023. So it will be same as that of the previous years.

The pattern of the examination may be discussed as:

Prelims exam will be having 2 question papers which include General Studies Paper and CSAT Paper.

Mains examination will include total of 8 papers. Finally the Personality test is a oral test taken as the third and the last stage of the KAS examination.

JKAS CCE 2022 Final Result

 JKAS CCE 2023 Final Result  JKPSC has issued the final result notification for the JKPSC CCE 2022 recently with Notification no. PSC/EXAM/2023/S/37 dated 22-09-2023.  JKPSC 2022 notification was issued for 220 no of  posts.  A total of 34121 candidates applied for the examination while a total of 4944 no of candidates were declared qualified to appear in the mains examination.  As per rules, about 787 candidates were declared qualified for personality test.  Finally 218 candidates were selected as per annexure II of the notification, to be qualified for the said exam and were called for medical examination in their GMCs.
