Doubts about Future JKAS exam

It's very true that after the  abrogation of article 270 of Indian Constitution , enaction of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act 2019 and Jammu and Kashmir Domicile Law, the public of Jammu and Kashmir in general  and the students and Govt Job aspirants of Jammu and Kashmir in particular are much worried about their future.

The first fact is that section 93 of JK Reorganization Act says that PSC will remain as it is.

Second fact is that according to SO 144 issued on 29th April 2020 by the government, the 50% post of Tehsildar will be filled through Combined Competitive Examination to the Junior scale KAS which is conducted by JKPSC and another  50% of posts of Tehsildar will be filled through Departmental Promotion Committee /JKPSC(limitation of Functions) Regulations, 1957.

Thirdly Jammu and Kashmir is a large Union Territory as per Administrative point of View so administrative Posts  filled as in other UTs through DANICS AND DANIPS is not possible for this UT.

And fourthly according to the S.O. 177 issued on 20th May 2020 by Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr.B R Sharma (Rtd.IAS) has been appointed as Chairman of JKPSC.

So in view of above facts the posts of JKAS will be Filled by JKPSC and so aspirants preparing for this prestigious exam should continue to study for the exam.

Thanks for a look.
